Order Of Works

Are you interested in Master Renovations undertaking a renovation project with you but are uncertain as to what is involved? This is a common question we get asked, so below we have outlined the order of works for you, so you can have a better understanding of what the process entails from start to finish.

  1. Once you reach out for our services we arrange a suitable day and time to come and do a site inspection together with you. During this inspection we consult with you to gain a much clearer understanding of exactly what you have in mind regarding the works you want completed. You are welcome to send us some information prior to the inspection to show us what the current area you want renovated looks like and what you want to do with the area so that we can familiarise ourselves with the project before arriving.
  2. Depending on the size of the project we will then consult with the architect and engineers in our team to draw up the plans to suit your request. This part of the process is usually for a full home renovation extension or adding another level up above to the existing house. A lot of the time when it’s only a bathroom, a client has an idea of what they want and how they want it and we will assist with design elements such as, colours, fixtures type, tiles type, etc.
  3. While the quotation is being prepared we will send you to our contacts at Beaumont Tiles to assist you with picking a selection of tiles, fixtures, sinks, etc, everything that you need for the renovation project.
  4. We then draw up and submit a quote to you with the plans including an “Inclusions Schedule” document which clearly details every single item that is included in the quote. This makes it much easier for both parties to understand what exactly comes along with the quote. We also outline in the quote a realistic time frame of how long the renovation works will take from start to finish so you can plan accordingly and know if anything was to interfere with your day to day life. If it is required for you to vacate the property while works are taking place, we will let you know how long you will be living away and any other requirements.
  5. Once you accept the quote then:

•We work out a start date to commence the works

•The job works officially commence and we follow our schedule put in place by the project managers to make sure that the project deadlines are met and everything is completed on time

•If you are living in the property while works are taking place we set up everything to reduce any inconvenience so that we don’t interfere with your home life or create dust and hazards that might be in the way.

•During the works taking the place we walk you through the job site and go step by step over the progress of the works and discuss what has taken place so far

  6. On completion of the job works, we take you on a final walk through inspection of the whole project and with your satisfaction we leave the site with great reviews of our service and management.

Often we are booked out months in advance sometimes longer for full home renovations, so generally the earlier you can get in touch with us the better. We usually can come around to look at your potential renovation within a week of you calling us.
