Bathroom Renovation Project in Templestowe

  • Project brief: The clients wanted to freshen up the existing powder room and add in a shower to create a bathroom for the downstairs guest bedroom

BEFORE Renovating Bathroom

The clients reached out to us at  Master Renovations Melbourne as they had an existing, downstairs powder room which consisted of a toilet and basin separated by a divider wall through the middle. The double storey house had two upstairs bathrooms with a shower and bathtub in each but, there was no other bathroom downstairs. Due to the increase of interstate visitors staying in the clients’ downstairs guest bedroom they wanted to freshen up the existing powder room with a new updated look and also add in a shower so that it could become a bathroom for the downstairs guest bedroom.

 

The works involved in this project were to knock down the divider wall in the middle so that we could create one large open bathroom space that consisted of a toilet, basin and shower.

 


The Bathroom Renovation Process

After attending the property for a site inspection, we agreed that in order to create a functional open bathroom space we would need to remove the divider wall, this would not only create the necessary space but also improve the natural light available through the new bathroom. As this would be a guest bathroom it was important to the clients that the bathroom design should be easy to clean and maintain. 

 

The clients went to Beaumont Tiles where our expert contacts assisted them with selecting all their tiles, fixtures, basin, shower and vanity to create the bathroom style of their choosing.

 

The project took a total of 6 weeks to complete from start to finish, which was the agreed timeline.



AFTER Renovating Bathroom

The clients were extremely pleased with the bathroom renovation project undertaken by Master Renovations. Transformed from a once dimly lit powder room to a bright new bathroom that looks stylish and practical with its new layout, fixtures and décor. The clients’ are grateful their guests have a bathroom to themselves when coming to stay and their guests definitely agree too.
