Magnificent Bathroom Renovation in Ivanhoe

BEFORE Renovating Bathroom
Master Renovations Melbourne was approached by the client to undertake this bathroom renovation project. The couple, whose children have since left home, were finally ready to give their bathroom a new look as it had not been touched since they purchased the property back in the 80’s. Being the only bathroom in the house, the clients wanted to keep the bathtub for when the grandkids would stay over and needed to be bathed.
The Bathroom Renovation Process
After attending the property for a site inspection we came up with a few ideas as the clients guided us through exactly what they wanted to achieve and their wish for the bathroom to be the wow factor of the house.
The existing window was in an annoying spot so we suggested that we block the existing window off and create a new window opening on the east west side of the home which would suit the new bathroom layout and generate a lot more natural light throughout the day and the clients agreed. The house being a weatherboard home made it easier to complete the external works of the home as opposed to a brick property, which would require a lot more work.
Being a slightly larger bathroom than usual we suggested that the client add in an additional basin and make it a double basin vanity in which they agreed. The clients went to see our contacts at Beaumont for their fixtures where they purchased the tiles, tapware, basin, shower, bathtub and toilet to create their desired aesthetic.
These works took an estimated 8 weeks to start and complete including repositioning the window, which we all agreed was a decent job!
AFTER Renovating Bathroom
The clients were thrilled with the end result of their bathroom renovation and love waking up to a brand new modern bathroom every morning. This bathroom has definitely added value to the clients home and created the wow factor they were seeking.
